Our History

The Altruism Project (TAP-International) started as the JOY Mission Society in 1970 by Bhasme Sumamth and Frank Morrison, and has since expanded throughout southern India with the help of local pastors and evangelists. The Bhasme family, including Abraham, Isaac, Stanley, Joshua, and Jason, have continued to spread the gospel and plant churches over the years.
Today, TAP-International has a Bible College, several orphanages, and has established over 250 churches throughout South India.
